About Me
My background
I have always had a deep love for all the Bullbreeds, and have been drawn to Bulldog type breeds . Although the great personality and docile nature of the KC Bulldog was what drew me to them ,this was offset by their poor health and ongoing issues with fitness . I have chosen the taller longer muzzled dogs and health tested to try and overcome the health issues or at least help . Although I had a better type than the very short flat faced version of the Breed , they were fit for a KC Bulldog but were still unfit for a normal functioning Dog. I have bought in an olde tyme bulldog his fitness is not comparable to that of a English bulldog . He is functionally fit being able to jump fences ,gates and go for extremely long walks and strenuous exercise often taking part in weight pull or jumping events. The Pocket American bully is a show dog with a very similar loving nature to that of a bulldog retaining the muscle and bone Without the multitude of health problems , but be careful as some breeders are breeding an exotic type which are very small and have little resemblance to the original bully often genetically flawed . We also do not want the XL Bully to be confused with The pocket bully the Pocket bully is very similar in size and shape to an English Bulldog . The XL bully is similar in shape to a mastiff x pitbull.
